The mats hold up well for our uses which are aimed at courses for self-defensive and Law Enforcement training for a variety of disciplines which include hand-to-hand, ASP Baton Certification and edged weapon courses. These courses are run with participants wearing soft sole shoes and the mats have stood up to the light wear this creates, even though they aren’t rated for footwear.
